A missional community is much more than a weekly event. MCs gather together at different times throughout the week to fulfill Jesus' mission of being disciples who make disciples. Together we learn how to worship and submit to Jesus in all of life by learning how to love one another as family, worship Jesus as servants who serve others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ as his sent missionaries.

Every missional community identifies a group of people whom they believe God is sending them to love, serve, and share Jesus with. It could be a neighborhood, an existing ministry in the city or network of relationships. We want to see every aspect of our city blessed by God's people: business, arts, education, sports, recreation, and social services.

MC’s are smaller groups of people that worship and submit to Jesus together in all of life by learning to love one another as family, serve a specific mission (like a neighborhood, an affinity group, or other contexts in our community) and be a witness to the good news of Jesus Christ in our city. This is where real life happens, as together we seek to believe and live out the good news in the normalcy of daily life.

As Missional Communities grow, they multiply into more gospel communities living on mission—each displaying and declaring the satisfying, transforming Good News of Jesus.

CURRENT MISSIONAL COMMUNITIES

Youth Sports

MC Leaders : Luke & Donna Moore

To see every man, woman, and child involved in youth sports to have a daily encounter with the Real Jesus. We desire to see the culture of youth sports in our city be a culture of grace, inclusion, love, and fun by investing in parents and kids that are locally involved in the sports community of Paragould. Whether in baseball, soccer, dance, swim team, basketball, etc. we want to bring the good news of the Gospel to families across our city.

The Reconnect
12:30pm - Sundays
MC Leaders: BJ & Brooke Smith

Helping those freed from addiction, through the chain-breaking power of Jesus, "Reconnect" with life! Our mission is to help recovering addicts make a healthy transition from recovery centers to society. We are very present in their lives during their residency, seeking to build relationships, and carrying with us a message of hope that a sober life is possible with Christ. Once they begin reentry, we lock arms with them and help them to "ReConnect" with life. Our program of focus is Grace Mission Bible Training Center in Paragould. We serve meals monthly, teach classes regularly, and worship with them often, all for the glory of The King and His mission of making disciples.

Glocal
11:30am - Sundays
MC Leaders, Jared & Meagan Pickney

Our Missional Community consists of local people committed to loving our global neighbors. God commands us in the Scripture to love the foreigners among us (Leviticus 19:34). The people of Glocal want to love our international population well by helping them go from feeling like foreigners to feeling like family. We believe that this is a great picture of the gospel, in that, we once were aliens but now through Jesus have been welcomed into the family of God (Ephesians 2:12-13)
